Kassie WrightHR Advisor/Researcher

Kassie works behind the scenes on government compliance, policies and regulation, store policies, onboarding new employees, training certifications, scheduling, employee benefits (shared duties with Debbie Baker, HR), new projects, grants and many other areas of employee relations.

Amanda Cutting

Meet Amanda Cutting, our New Grocery Manager as of September 2024! She is a great asset to our Sanford Grocery Team!

Debbie BakerHR Payroll

Since 1991, Debbie has been one of our valuable and loyal employees. Her dedicated commitment, seasoned expertise and knowledge in areas such as payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, onboarding, employee relations and benefits (shared with Kassie Wright, HR) make her role vital to our business.

Our History

Welcome to our Sanford & Son Super Market Grocery Family! Where everyone is greeted as family.

Located in the ‘Heart’ of Harrow, at 77 King Street East, right downtown. Since the early 80’s our family has been serving the community with fresh produce, as well as, a great selection of meat, deli and groceries at affordable prices.

Our mother (and founder), Donna Sanford worked for decades to ensure that ‘Sanfords’ was well stocked with all the staples and specialty items our community needed or wanted. Upon her passing, in 2019, Dane Sanford (her son) who managed the store for her, along with Kassie Wright (her daughter), continue her legacy to serve our community by providing the same level of excellence she instituted.

We are blessed with Awesome Staff and Loyal Customers and continue to enjoy bringing local, as well as, new products to our community. Most important, we remain Fiercely Independent, Locally Owned and Family Operated.

We were in the area on vacation and swung by the Sanford and Son Supermarket for provisions. We did not have plans to stay in the area long... if we had, however, we would've surely stocked up on the beautiful selection of produce the store offered. It seemed to have very nice options of good quality. Wish I had a local market like this close to my own residence. Thanks!

On vacation in southern Ontario and needing some grocery items. This small supermarket had just about anything you would need. Although I didn't purchase meat, there was a large assortment of beef, pork and poultry. I did not check on their fish selection. My cashier was genuinely sweet and forgiving of my limited knowledge of Canadian coins.🥴

This is the friendliest grocery store you’ll ever visit. Excellent service, great selection, especially their gluten-free shelf. I love shopping here!

Great service and very competitive prices. Kareem provided us with great courteous service form the produce department. Product was A1 and we will expand our purches with Sanford and Son in the future. So convenient having great service so close by. I totally recommend this store to everyone.

I picked up lots of fresh fruit for a fruit tray to bring on Christmas... prices were reasonable and grapes very very fresh!! Great customer service and very helpful produce manager and staff!

Thanks so much for the friendly service! The clerk at the front even directed us to a few different products that saved us some money and had an awesome experience. All the produce and product was clean and well organized - definitely coming back here anytime we are in the area.
